zero

zero is in town. that is dangerous stuff. we are apt to party down like "nautical douchebags." yes that is a classic zero quote.

We finally have our site 95% developed. There will always be upgrades and rewrites, but for the first time there are no null links and there are no empty segments. I'm really happy with how it looks based on the amount of time, energy, and expertise we were able to put into it. There are so many things that we only scratched the surface of. A lot of sections are going to be reciveing content updates for years to come, not to mention the addition of RSS feeds for specific grades and subjects and the switch to .flv video. Yikes. Maybe I shouldn't celebrate yet.

I learned a lot about coding and web design. I can't wait to do some freelance work. Of course, as soon as I leave the comfort of my own content and my student workers, I'll be useless.

Oh well. To celebrate my achievement in nerddom I watched a video and sent the site to my parents (again).
