DC in March

Once again I'm in DC for a Dynamo game. I love this city. So much is happening all the time. I can get any kind of food I want, see and do anything I want, buy anything I want. Living in Nac really makes me appreciate traveling more. Last night I met some of Max's friends and we had a few drinks at a cool bar called Wonderland. Then we ate Burmese food- which is their favorite. It was really good, but I'd rather have Thai. The Burmese food was a little bland? Bland is certainly not the word, but I can see how Max and his friends like it better, Thai might be too in their face. Anyway- it was awesome. Then we picked up some Yuengling (regional beer that is so tasty).
We played wii and drank for a bit. I went to bed pretty early, but shit, I woke up at 5 Nac time to start traveling.
Woke up this morning and got a message that Max had forgotten his ants on a log*, so I hopped on the Metro and brought him his shit. After that I made a detour to Pentagon City to check out the Apple store and my future Macbook Pro. I wish the money that the school owes me was here already. They owe me over $3300 for all the traveling I've been doing. Half to pay off the credit card I used and half to put down on a laptop to replace the old one.
I took the long way back to Max's place and was rewarded with a cool deli. The guy and the place had some obvious history in the neighborhood. I really enjoyed talking to him about the MLK fires and riots** and the best places to get food in DC. I just finished one of the best roast beast sammichs of my life.

Now I'm off to get his car oil checked and what not. Tomorrow we let loose the dogs of war and drive to New York, then Boston, then probably jail after we riot the cities face off after the Dynamo's crushing victory.

Oh- also. Get a twitter account. Everyone. Do it before your ideal name is taken.

* he uses celery instead of bananas. what a dumb fuck!
**max lives in Columbia Heights, where some of the most severe rioting took place. the city is opening up blocks this week that have been nothing for over 30 years.
