Thursday Picturama

For all of this month I'll be writing a blog post a day. Of that you might be aware. Last year I wasn't as good at blogging, so sometimes it was hard to think of content for the daily post. In order to avoid that I've thought of some themes or day-centric memes. Thursdays are going to be "old picture days" in which I will find a photo from the past and break it down for those of you who might have missed that party, birthday, road trip or whatnot.


Today's picture has three key points.

1. Rabbit got me that sweet Batman cup. It has a matching plate and bowl. Rabbit has often been the person behind some of the best presents I've ever gotten. Most of them Batman related. Also of note is the location of this photo. This is the second apt. that Dru and I lived in. When Dru moved out, Rabbit moved in. So that puts me... at about....anywhere between fall of 2005 and summer of 2006. I'll look into that and post a comment. Maybe.
Also, this couch belonged to my grandparents before they left Denton. Yes it is fucking comfortable and beautiful. I slept on it last weekend in fact. It has a fold out (crappy) bed and the cast iron frame weighs about 300 lbs.

2. Sweet sweet sweet mohawk. I really am a big fan of me having mohawks. One is coming soon! My hair IS thicker than yours. Please don't argue, just know it as canon. Anyway, that means that a high statue of libery style hawk is out of the question. These low "Indian" hawks are my only option, and luckily I like them very much.

3. This, I'm pretty sure, is the first recorded pinky raise. Which, by definition- even the early definition- means that this next sip is going to be really classy.
