found these artifacts yesterday. there. better.
this is one of the prettier points i've ever found, Clovis excluded.
as you can see, the area is beautiful. i'll get some more pictures of the plant life around the area. this section is managed really well and has enough space to move about, and it isn't choked out by cacti and small trees. some places are impossible to walk through. for average men. but, as you can see, vic and i are no average men.

max: so when you find stuff what do you do with it?
sean: gps it in, define the site boundary, take pictures more gps. then after the field work is done, vic writes a report, does some analysis of the artifacts to see if he can type or classify anything, age, culture, material, etc. and then he sends the artifacts to austin to be stored and cataloged. if the cultural significance is high, then vic tells the state to tell the pipeline people to move their pipeline, or burrow it below a certain depth, which btw, costs over a thousand dollars a foot extra for the oil company.
