i got new boots. i forced myself to do so b/c i'm going camping this weekend and i need to start breaking them in. these were so expensive that i'm pretty sure the national economy will be set right after my debit card clears the expenditure.

regardless, i'm pumped! whoo!!!

i'm going camping this weekend. i'm not sure where. but i'm leaving in about an hour. either enchanted rock or coloroado bend state park. or somewhere else.

i also got a water purifier. steriPEN adventurer. i know what you're thinking- too much technology to take into the woods, but i'm confident that if there is one aspect of this whole hiking thing that i can get, it is the fucking technology. we'll see how it works this trip.
