LA!

My trip couldn't have started any better. LA is pretty badass.

My plane was an hour late, but whatever. Can't let that shit get me down. Thanks to a little (no pun intended) Katt Williams, the flight went by quickly.

I didn't see much of LAX except for when I was on the shuttle bus to the metro. We must have stopped at 30 terminals. I'm really glad I didn't take a taxi to my cousin's work, seeing the city like so many working class people do everyday was cool. I'm not saying I fit in- b/c I didn't at all. For one thing I had a giant backpack on and for another I kept looking out the window grinning like a moron. Also, I was the only person on the train without bloodshot eyes. I didn't get that memo I guess.

I saw the staples center, the hollywood sign and some other cool famous places along the way. Not to mention the La Brea tar pits! I totally jumped in that shit.
After meeting up with the cuz we went (in his Porche!!!!) to a hip part of town called 'The Grove' for dinner and a movie. We met one of his co-workers for some delicious Greek food. The food was almost as good as the company. The co-worker was someone I hope I meet again. Very genuine.

After dinner cuz and I went to see "I love you, man" which was full of great lines and some seriously awkward moments. Pretty silly, but worth seeing.

I got to bed at 1 local time which is 3 Texas time. I didn't feel tired at all.
Did I mention the view?

Today is tennis and lunch and whatever else happens. Not to mention an 11:30pm flight to Fiji !!
